Community & Safety Guidelines
Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026 · Version 2026-08-v1
Recreation.city is used by families choosing activities for children. These guidelines apply to every listing, image, message and account on the platform.
Safe and lawful activities only
Activities must be lawful where they are delivered and appropriate for the ages advertised. Providers must hold any licences, permits and insurance their activity requires.
Accurate representation
Listings must describe the real activity: correct ages, schedule, location, price and what is included. Images must show the actual activity, venue or comparable sessions the provider is entitled to use.
Not allowed
- Discriminatory or hateful listings, imagery or messages
- Sexual or adult services, or content inappropriate for a children's marketplace
- Dangerous, unsupervised or illegal activities
- Misleading health, developmental or educational outcome claims
- Impersonating another business, person or Recreation.city
- Harassment of parents, providers or staff
- Fraud, payment abuse or fake bookings
- Fake reviews, incentivised reviews, or reviews written by the business itself
Reporting
Every provider and activity page has a Report Listing control. Reports go to our moderation queue, and we may edit, suspend or remove content, and suspend accounts, while we review.
If you believe a child is at immediate risk, contact your local emergency services first, then report the listing to us.
