Listing Terms
Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026 · Version 2026-08-v1
Listings are how parents judge whether an activity is right for their child. These standards keep them trustworthy.
Listing standards
- Accurate, specific titles that describe the actual activity
- Accurate descriptions of what happens in a session and what is included
- Real prices, including material fees a parent must pay
- Accurate age ranges and any prerequisites
- Accurate schedules, terms, dates and session lengths
- Valid, specific locations — or a clear statement that the activity is online or mobile
- Working booking or enquiry links that reach the activity, not a generic home page
- Appropriate photos that represent the activity and respect the privacy of children shown
- Rights to every image, video and piece of text you upload
Not permitted
- Misleading claims about outcomes, credentials, accreditation or safety
- Prohibited or age-inappropriate services
- Fake, incentivised or self-authored reviews
- Duplicate or spam listings for the same activity
- Keyword stuffing, unrelated categories or misleading age ranges to widen reach
- Listings for activities you are not licensed or insured to deliver
Keeping listings current
Expired, cancelled or fully booked sessions must be updated or removed promptly. Recreation.city may edit, reject, suspend or remove listings that do not meet these standards, and repeated breaches may result in account suspension.
